Integrated, Mobile Exercise Physiology Services

Engage Exercise Physiology is a mobile health service dedicated to delivering personalised, evidence-based exercise interventions to support people in managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, and improving overall wellbeing. Our approach is holistic, person-centred, and designed to meet clients in their homes, workplaces, aged care facilities, or community settings.

Engage Exercise Physiology was founded by Leanne McLaughlin, Director and Principal Exercise Physiologist, in response to the increasing demand for high-quality, accessible allied health services within the community. With over 16 years of experience in the health and rehabilitation sector, Leanne brings extensive clinical expertise and a deep commitment to person-centred care. She holds a Bachelor of Human Movement and a master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation.

Leanne’s approach is grounded in the belief that true progress comes from treating the whole person — not just the condition. She places strong emphasis on both the emotional and physiological aspects of every client’s journey, ensuring each individual feels supported, empowered, and understood throughout their rehabilitation and recovery. This philosophy underpins every service offered at Engage, where programs are tailored to promote not only physical function but also confidence, independence, and long-term well-being.

Our team has experience across:

  • Private practice, working in collaboration with Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists
  • Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work programs
  • Workplace Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Musculoskeletal rehabilitation for individuals and sporting teams
  • Residential and Aged Care services to enhance strength, mobility, and independence
  • Disability support, delivering individualised plans targeting the participants’ goals
  • Mental health, integrating exercise as a therapeutic tool for physical and emotional well-being

At Engage, we see movement as medicine personalised for each person. Our services are designed to empower clients of all ages and abilities, supporting them to achieve long-term health outcomes and a better quality of life.

Whether you are managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, or seeking to regain independence, Engage Exercise Physiology is here to help.
